Did you know that ... unlike other vegetables, tomatoes for harvesting for future use can be dried not in artificial dryers, but in the sun.
To do this, take fleshy, dense fruits of medium size. They are cut into 4-6 parts, leaving connected at the top of the fruit.
Tomatoes are laid cut up on boards and exposed to the sun.
You can also dry vegetables such as carrots, after rubbing them on a grater, as well as most green and spicy crops.
